Silica and Cleansing 

What it is

Jackson’s Cell Salt #12 Silica 6X DIN-HM 80083301. Also known as Schuessler’s Tissue Cell Salt #12 and used as a homeopathic supplement.

Why it’s special

According to Dr. Schuessler and other homeopathic references, Silica (also known as Silicea) is an important mineral salt for the general cleansing and conditioning of the body. The effects of poor nutrition, hair loss, brittle/weak nails, cystic acne, boils, cysts with pus formation, and foul perspiration are all related to an imbalance of this salt in the body.

  • Traditionally prepared according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States (HPUS).
  • Compounded with organic sucrose (cane) instead of lactose.

Medicinal ingredient

Silica 6X HPUS.

The letters "HPUS" indicate this ingredient is officially monographed in the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States. Lactose is NOT used during remedy trituration and preparation.

Non-medicinal ingredient

Organic cane sucrose.

Quantity

500 pellets per bottle (125 full doses or 250 half doses). Pellets are size no. 40 (4mm diameter).

Directions for use

Use cap to dispense pellets. Allow to dissolve in mouth 1-3 times per day or as instructed by a health practitioner.

Adults and adolescents 12 and over: 4 pellets per dose.

Children 1-12 years: 2 pellets per dose. Dissolve dose in a small amount of water before administration to children under 5.

Good salts, great customer service

This was a part of an order shipped to my brother in Europe. He never received it. I contacted customer service, and they were very helpful and understanding. A new order was shipped to me in USA at no cost. (Which then I shipped to Europe). I am very happy with the products and the service. This is the only brand of cell salts we use now. Thank you!

Three healing events!

I began using #12 because I had vertical splits in two fingernails, one of which extended half the length of the nail. I took 4 pellets each morning, and within a month both splits had closed up. Two months have passed since then, and both splits remain healed, although I can still see the line where the larger split was. I expect that will disappear as the nail grows. I have continued the dosage of 4 pellets a day and have had 2 other positive healing events from Silica 6X. I strained my thumb joint 6 months ago and it was not healing, in fact it seemed to gradually grow worse. Now, after 3 months of Silica, it is almost completely healed. I had read that Silica is good for injuries slow to heal or failing to heal. In addition, my hair is fuller, less lank. With these successes, I'm now planning to cut back on the Silica to maybe one dose a week and use it as a tonic.
